Here are a few of the bands I play with (or have played with) regularly that definitely deserve your attention!
I met the Ploughboys (very appropriately) on St. Patrick's day in 2014 and have been playing a wonderful blend of traditional and modern celtic music with them ever since. They also double as a country band called Big Red Sky on occasion. You can find us at the Tam O'Shanter Inn in Glendale every first Friday night of the month at 8:00 and every Thursday after that at 7:30.
An americana/celtic band I met through my connection with The Ploughboys, Whiskey Sunday blends classic rock, celtic, and american folk elements.
Lilian Garcia is a ring announcer for the WWE and has also been a singer for quite some time. There's always a lot of cool stuff in the works with her.
A Pennsylvania native, Jett's sound is a mix of modern pop with classic piano-based artists like Elton John and Billy Joel.
The Straytones are an acoustic dance band marketed toward corporate events, weddings, and the like.
The Draw is an Americana/Rock band I met before even moving to LA. They've since gone more the Indy Rock route, but they're still awesome and definitely worth checking out.
